What other day is better that April Fools’ to do a little prank on your students? Muhahahhahahahaha!

I’ve seen many April Fools’ pranks for kiddos like wacky spelling tests and a pop quiz with gibberish. When I was student teaching, my mentor did the gibberish test with her kinders and they started to cry. Oops! This brown E prank is perfect for the youngins’ though. Don’t get me wrong, they’re going to be mad at you- but I haven’t experienced any tears, yet. It may help that I bring actual brownies too… I can’t be that mean. 😉

How to:

• Tell your kids that you have a special brownie treat for them (after lunch or specials) if they do a good job today…or however you want to frame it.
• While they are out of the room, place a brown letter E at each seat or on a pan/cookie sheet. You can download my freebie or just use the die cut machine to make a bunch of brown paper e’s.
• As you head back tot he classroom, tell them they earned their brown e’s. Show them their brown E’s and let the chaos ensue.
• Give them a moment before you pull out some real brownies, or don’t… that’s up to you. Ha! APRIL FOOLS!
