Fluffy Winter Snow Painting

This puffy, fluffy, white paint is way more fun to create with AND is easy and cheap to throw together!

Make a fun winter scene, polar bear, snowflake, snowman, or whatever your wintry heart desires!

Materials:

  • cardstock/thick paper
  • paint
  • craft glue
  • shaving cream
  • foam snowflakes or whatever you’ll need for your art project
  • sponge brush, something to mix in, smock, protection for tables

I used Elmer’s craft glue, Barbasol shaving cream, styrofoam bowl, paper plate, sponge brush, foam snowflakes, various blue, gray, and white acrylic paint (I’m brave), and a plastic tablecloth.

PRO TIP- use cheap plastic tablecloths for less mess (I get and reuse mine from $ Tree)

Instructions:

  • Paint your paper and let dry.
  • Mix together equal parts glue and shaving cream to get a fluffy paint-like consistency.
  • Paint! Add whatever you’re using (like foam snowflakes) while the paint is still wet.
  • Let dry! It will stay fluffy and feel squishy to the touch.
