Get those little hands busy (and not drawing on the walls) or make learning more exciting by creating a thematic sensory bin. Grab some bins like these and store them away for easy access to use each season! Below are some fun winter bin ideas.

Materials:

- Fake snow or foam snow flakes
- Small plastic Arctic/Antarctic/winter animals
- sensory bin (I use these storage bins)
- a cup for scooping, scoopers, fine motor tweezers, cupcake liners, etc.
- Add a variety of winter words for older kiddos – see below for more ideas with vocab words
Other ideas for the season- confetti, cotton balls, cotton filling, winter colored beads, rice, sand, Styrofoam, crinkle paper, tissue paper, etc. . Check out my Amazon list for sensory bin finds here!

Instructions:
- Pick out what you want in your bin and toss it in there. That’s it.
- May require a trip to the store or Amazon.com if you don’t have what you need hanging around your classroom or home
Watch it in action:
