Get those little hands busy (and not drawing on the walls) or make learning more exciting by creating a thematic sensory bin. Grab some bins like these and store them away for easy access to use each season!

Materials:

- Pom poms
- plastic or felt shatterproof ornaments
- sensory bin (I use these storage bins)
- a cup for scooping, scoopers, fine motor tweezers, etc. (I used a good ‘ol Solo cup)
- Add a variety of holiday words for older kiddos see below for more ideas with vocab words
Other ideas for the season- bells, winter animals, fake snow, letters, numbers, dreidels, stars, holiday confetti, holiday pictures, wrapping paper, tissue paper, ribbon, bows, rice (for snow), cotton balls, beads, themed erasers, kinetic sand, sand, snowflakes, etc. Check out my Amazon list for sensory bin finds here!

Instructions:
- Pick out what you want in your bin and toss it in there. That’s it.
- May require a trip to the store or Amazon.com if you don’t have what you need hanging around your classroom.

Watch it in action:
